CherryStudio is by far one of the more pleasant tools to use, but of course there are many others available, so take CherryStudion as an example. The configuration is similar.
Download CherryStudion:https://www.xueqiuai.com/595.html
start working
Open "Settings" ➡️ "MCP Server"

Cherry Studio currently only uses the built-in uvs and buns and does not reuse the uvs and buns already installed on the system.
Click on Install: UV and BUN. but the probability is that the installation will fail here and we can download these necessary files ourselves.
Let's take Windows here as an example, Bun and UV files to download this.

We downloaded these two files and placed them in the following folder:
- Windows.
C:\Users\User Name\.cherrystudio\bin - macOS, Linux.
~/.cherrystudio/bin

Configuring the MCP Server

- Open Cherry Studio Settings.
- Find the "MCP Server" option.
- Click "Add Server".
- Fill in the relevant parameters of the MCP Server (Reference Links). Elements that may need to be filled in include:
- Name: customize a name, e.g.
fetch-server - Type: Selection
STDIO - Order: Fill in
uvx - Parameter: Fill in
mcp-server-fetch - (There may be other parameters, depending on the specific Server)
- Name: customize a name, e.g.
- Click "OK" to save.
- Click "Enable".

configuration model
Because CherryStudio uses Function call, it must be supported by the model to work properly. As shown in the picture:

Open the dialog with the model selected correctly and then turn on the function within the dialog.

This is done, and more complex requirements are accomplished by calling different MCPs.
in conclusion
Snowball AI is also collecting various useful MCP servers that can be moved:
